Grandparent Day

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Grandparent day today. We sang some songs, read some poems and served some kai. Students shared their work with their grandparents and family.

  1. What an exciting event! I'm sure your grandparents enjoyed sharing this special day with you. More than that, you have given them many more reasons to be proud of the exceptional learners that you are! I love it when my students have a chance to share their learning in their home and with their extended family. Students need to have a circle of supporters that encourage and celebrate their accomplishments. You have done a great job nurturing that idea.

We are so excited to connect with you. My 4th grade learners are making a list of questions they want to know about you, your school and your community. As students, what do you like best about your school? What is the most exciting thing you are looking forward to in your school year?

Keep up the great work you are doing down under! The world is watching and cheering for you too. :-)
