Moving March

This is "Moving March" and we are thinking about getting moving. Moving March is an event to get people all over NZ walking. Every time you walk to school you can tick off a number on the card that is sent home with your child. When you have walked ten times you can post it (details on the back of the card and need to be received by 7th March) and be in to win a bike and helmet.

Message from Wellington City Council: Parent Photo Competition: For the second year in a row we are running our Parent Photo Competition.  We encourage families to take a photo reflecting the positives of their active journey to school and send it to us at schooltravel@gw.govt.nz or post it on our Facebook page -https://www.facebook.com/movinmarch/ (using #movinmarch so we can see it) they will go into the draw to win a family pass to their favourite Wellington Wild Things destination (2 to be won).  Last year we got some great pictures of nature, pets and shadow creations which families had seen on their journey to school (photos do not have to be of children).
